As of September C.O.L.E Counselling offers those needing a placement the opportunity to experience

 

Benefits:

• A planned placement for one year or longer at C.O.L.E Counselling within a practice setting.
• Clinical hours for course credit or certification (confirm with your tutor before applying if your course accepts hours for child counselling, but some do not).
• Access to free professional guidance throughout.
• Opportunities for employment with a growing organisation.

Entry requirements:

 

You must have finished or be pursuing one of the following to be eligible to apply for a counselling placement.

Level 4 or higher in England and Wales, or an equivalent degree at SCQF Level 9–11 in Scotland) Diploma in Counselling, degree or master's in art therapy, psychotherapy, or counselling.

 

Please verify with your tutor before to applying since certain programmes do not accept hours from child counselling, ( however, alternative options can be provided)

 

Additionally, we warmly welcome licenced counsellors, therapists, and clinical psychologists who are ready to volunteer their time in support of our worthwhile work.

 

Applications from a range of communities and backgrounds are welcomed.

 

After reviewing your application, we might extend an invitation for an interview. In the event that you are hired, we will set up an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) or Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check for you.
