Q: What issues can I bring to therapy?

 

A: You can talk about anything. Common reasons include anxiety, trauma, low mood, relationship difficulties, grief, low self-esteem, childhood experiences, or simply feeling stuck.

Q: Do you offer therapy for children and teens?

 

A: Yes. I provide child-centred and creative therapy approaches for children and adolescents in a safe and age-appropriate environment.

Q: What happens in the first session?

 

A: The first session is a chance to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, explore your goals, and decide if we’re a good fit to work together.

Q: How long are sessions?

 

A: Sessions typically last 50 minutes, whether in-person or online.

Q: How often will I need therapy?

 

A: Most clients attend weekly, especially at the beginning. We can review this together as therapy progresses.

Q: Where do sessions take place?

 

A: Sessions are held in a private, comfortable space in Bury St Edmunds , or online via secure video call.

Q: What does therapy cost?

 

A: My standard fee is £60 per session for adults , £55 per child/ younger person.

 

Concessionary rates may be available — feel free to enquire.

Q: Do you offer reduced fees or funded sessions?

 

A: Yes, for students attending college / university. Please feel free to ask.

Q: How do I pay for sessions?

 

A: Payment can be made by bank transfer, cash or card , usually before or directly after each session.

Q: Is therapy confidential?

 

A: Yes. Everything shared is treated with strict confidentiality. The only exceptions are if there is serious risk of harm to you or someone else — we’ll talk about this in our first session.

Q: Are you a registered therapist?

 

A: Yes, I am a qualified integrative psychotherapist and a registered member of the BACP, working within ethical guidelines.
